Seeing hostile “Harry and Meghan” media coverage through my alternative COVID-19 causation narrative’s lens

Below is the introduction of a research article that I have been working on for the past few weeks, until it became wedged in the canal of my anal retentive cogitations, like the container carrying Ever Given.

I am “unloading” some of it here, to ease my neurological Nile’s traffic in human excellence – and/or excrement.

Abstract
Hostile BBC and wider media coverage of Harry and Meghan’s marriage intersects informatively with my alternative COVID-19 causation claim that “SARS-CoV-2’s virility and reproductive efficacy is interdependent with a radical (albeit gradual, possibly), change in human bio-psychology”.

Focusing mainly on reporting by royal correspondent Jonny Dymond and his BBC colleagues on February 19, 2021, this article asks to what extent such corrosive perversions of “public interest” broadcasting could or should be regarded as examples of “COVID-19’s well documented impact on the mind, inducing delirium, feelings of exhaustion and other psychosomatic manifestations, called ‘malaise’ by one British Medical Journal (BMJ) article.”

Also, what might Harry and Meghan’s mind-mangling mix of British Royal Family “fan fare” and Hollywood stardom conceived “royal celebrity” tell us about seemingly impregnable and untouchable humans’ vulnerability to SARs-CoV-2 virility?

Has Dymond’s caustic, cynicism seeding interpretation of Harry and Meghan’s “Service is universal” claim signaled and spawned a new, more virulent strain of BBC self serving celebrity coverage?

These and related questions are addressed.

Introduction

I am proposing that hostile, arguably delusion-driven coverage of Prince Harry and Meghan’s marriage by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the Daily Mail, the Sun and other metastatic media interests intersect fruitfully with my claim “that SARS-CoV-2’s virility and reproductive efficacy is interdependent with” compounded by, or entangled with “a radical (albeit gradual, possibly), change in human bio-psychology”.

That radically conversational or interactive, male-female interdependence mimicking, Couvade Syndrome simulated dimension of the Covid-19 pandemic, which accounts for the gendered, racial and related variability of its symptoms, I believe, is the foundational claim of the unwritten New Covenant (uNC) based, alternative-medicine-modeling Covid-19 causation narrative that I published in a December 2020 article, titled Re-thinking Covid-19’s causation narrative (Campbell 2020).

Building on and deepening analysis presented in that article, this one is focusing primarily on reporting by the BBC royal correspondent Jonny Dymond and some of his colleagues on February 19, 2021.

The main question I am asking is to what extent apparent perversions of “public interest” broadcasting catalyzed by Dymond, Edward Stourton, Carolyn Quinn and Anita Anand that day can, and perhaps should, be regarded as manifestations of “Covid-19’s well documented impact on the mind, inducing delirium, feelings of exhaustion and other psychosomatic manifestations, called ‘malaise’ by one British Medical Journal (BMJ) article,” (Campbell 2020).

This question draws attention to the pre-Covid-19 presence of toxic elements in the global knowledge economy.

At a micro, or as I like to say, a mustard seed science level (Matthew 17:20), it focuses attention on the polluting particulate matter of one-to-one communication, highlighting lies or fractions of truth that we tell ourselves and each other, consciously or unconsciously, to create or sustain a public shine or glory that can only ever be temporary (2 Corinthians 3).

At a macro level, it highlights the constriction and contamination of the “oxygen of publicity” by the consciously or unconsciously parasitic, pathogenic practice of some academics, journalists, politicians, religious leaders, pop musicians, actors and other conscious or unconscious “glory grabbers” (or gory ‘graphters’?) that my Help Google Be Good, Not Evil petition, my Air and On-Air Pollution initiative, Technologies of Trust project and others’ ethical knowledge economy pursuing projects (like the United Nations’ Global Forum For Media Development) are addressing.

And the words of Karl Jung about the “enormity” of things that happened in the first decade of the 20th century come to mind here poignantly.

In his landmark, water shed, beached whale simulating, post-mortem imperiled 1964 publication Man and His Symbols, Jung wrote,

“Things whose enormity nobody could have imagined in the idyllic harmlessness of the first decade of our century have happened and have turned our world upside down. Ever since, the world has remained in a state of schizophrenia. Not only has civilized Germany disgorged its terrible primitivity, but Russia is also ruled by it, and Africa has been set on fire. No wonder that the Western world feels uneasy.

Modern man does not understand how much his “rationalism” (which has destroyed his capacity to respond to numinous symbols and ideas) has put him at the mercy of the psychic “underworld.” He has freed himself from “superstition” (or so he believes), but in the process he has lost his spiritual values to a positively dangerous degree. His moral and spiritual tradition has disintegrated, and he is now paying the price for this break-up in world-wide disorientation and dissociation.” (page 84)

In the March 17, 2021 edition of BBC Radio 4’s Moral Maze, Dymond’s BBC colleague, the stoicism preaching (in Bajan English “hard mout”) Harry and Meghan critic Melanie Phillips provided a glimpse of what theoretical physicist Tom McLeisch might call a contemporary instantiation (McLeisch used the term in private correspondence with me on ) or symbol of that “world-wide disorientation and dissociation”, when she chillingly, timidly mouthed the word “replicate” while clearly referring to the existential zenith of male-female complementarity and interdependence: human procreation.

Below I look particularly at how Harry and Meghan’s marriage and procreation progress intersect as a semantic subset with the male-female complementarity hinged commerce and trade in “carnal knowledge” that the conscious or unconscious court jester professor Tim Hunt bumbled into ungraciously in 2015.

I also interrogate the mental marriage of Jamaica-based University of the West Indies (UWI) Vice Chancellor Sir Hilary Beckles and Dr Eudine Barriteau, the Barbados-based UWI Cave Hill principal.

Dr Barriteau, who succeeded Sir Hilary at Cave Hill when he moved to Jamaica is a key cog in what some alchemists might call Sir Hilary’s academic “concubinage”.

I use term concubinage in deference to Lady Beckles here.

Assessed by my Couvade syndrome centered procreation paradigm Lady Beckles is both UWI king pin sir Hilary’s action potential and patently consequential “seen queen”.

Like Harry and Meghan, Sir and Lady Beckles are Caribbean royalty: their sons, especially Rodney, apparently, carry a princely action potential in their bodies – like Princes Charles, Andrew and Edward, to varying degrees.

And re-imagining Jung, through my peculiar, proprietary uNC lens, I stress the importance of royally inherited (biogenetic) intellectual property rights in a person’s relation to the state and society.

Dymond’s February 19 editorial intervention is therefore treated as a kind of gene editing, at least (action) potentially.

Like Jung, I view the state as “a quasi-animate personality from whom everything is expected”.

I reiterate Jung’s prophet-Jeremiah-echoing, uNC-analysis-reinforcing view that the “state” persona is, very often “only camouflage for those individuals who know how to manipulate it” – “individuals” (I use the term advisedly) like Dymond, Beckles, Barriteau, Rupert Murdoch, Louis Farrakhan, Sheryl Sandberg, Barrack Obama, Reverend Al Sharpton, Donald Trump, Rupert Murdoch, Arianna Huffington, Reverend Franklin Graham, Bill and Melinda Gates, Barclay’s Bank, Google, Amazon, Domino’s Pizza, Lidl Supermarket and similar “individual” and corporate, royal we-is-we bodies.

I note that Jung referred to the state as a form of slavery and believed that states tend to swallow up people’s religious forces and in so doing take the place of God surreptitiously.

And my Assessing Academia As Church project embodies a one-to-one, person-to-person witnessing or “marketing” research and activism analysis and process wherein I have been exploring the extent to which state and para-state organs like the BBC, UWI, the Church of England, the Vatican and other entities are comparable to a religion in which “state slavery is a form of worship”.

Unsurprisingly, then, Jung’s claim that “stage acts of [the] state” are comparable to religious displays resonates deeply with me.
Jung wrote:

“Brass bands, flags, banners, parades and monster demonstrations are no different in principle from ecclesiastical processions, cannonades and fire to scare off demons.”

Can the same not be said of what Duchess Meghan referred to in her landmark, controversial Oprah Winfrey interview as Royal Family “fan fare” to some degree?

Equally poignantly, at least, one may ask how does the Duchess reconcile her criticism of British Royal Family pomp and circumstance puffery (my word) with the amplification or inflation of image that underpins and permeates much of what she did for a living in the television and movie industry?

Royal razzle dazzle clearly has its potentially carcinogenic, metastatic mass communication contaminating correlates in Hollywood, Bollywood, Nollywood, European football, Caribbean carnival, the Indian Premier League and other tributaries of the global glory gauging film, music, sporting and other human excellence measuring machine.

Service, whether as paid or unpaid work, is universal.

It is the way we measure and value it that varies.

Degrees of dementia, dementia of the degreed

Persons familiar with my open letter to American theologian Ryan Bonfiglio (Campbell 2019) will appreciate my basic agreement with Jung’s belief that the replacement of God with the state (or state-proximate incarnations like the BBC, Google, UWI, Camila Batmanghelidjh’s Kids Company, Steve Chalke’s Oasis Charitable Trust and the Sex Education Forum) in a micro or macro, mass society context metastasizes into a deforming, degeneration and dislocation of elementary religious drive (instinct) and results in the same fanaticism of the church-states of the Dark Ages: situations where the more the state is ‘worshipped’, the more freedom and morality are suppressed.

What might Jung make then, of the controversial Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, “a mammoth piece of legislation” that is before the UK Parliament at the time of this writing?

The picture that Jung paints of an over-arching “nanny state” situation is reminiscent of the Hindu nationalist degeneration of the Brahmin priesthood that I highlight in The Bible: Beauty and Terror Reconciled (TBBTR, 2010) – citing what the late Canadian theologian Robert Brow called priestcraft.

So the fact of the British Home Secretary Priti Patel’s enthusiasm for that Bill may be prophetically instructive, pointing to her reincarnation as an action potential incarnation of the Hindu, life and death deciding goddess Kali.

Below I show how Dymond’s “re-scripting” of an official statement released by the Sussexes’ in his February 19 World At One analysis might amount to Sussex brand plundering, public interest perverting presscraft, whether perpetrated consciously or unconsciously.

It can also be construed as an executive order abortion, the BBC exercising her pro-choice, cancel culture or termination option in its capacity as “Auntie”.

So the interdisciplinary biogenetics and media studies marrying critique of Dymond’s careless conversation press conduct pursued here deepens, dovetails with and builds on the pre-Covid-19 exploration of state and para-state obstruction and corruption of uNC facilitated communion that my open letter to Bonfiglio, published March 2, 2019, addresses.

Back then I thanked Bonfiglio for the historical information he provided about the sixteenth century, local-church-to-seminary, statist centralization of theological learning.

Bonfiglio’s analysis of that theological transition had appeared in a Christian Century article titled “It’s time to rethink our assumptions about where theological education happens.”

I affirmed Bonfiglio’s “very informative and insightful article” but also asserted my uNC-based belief that “the family, not the church nor the seminary”, is the locus of divine-human communion and revelation.

This thinking informs my fundamental belief in the primacy and practical, pedagogical priority of biological, heterosexual parenting and is the driving force behind my concern about the conscious or unconscious gay gospel preaching educator Andrew Moffatt and his Stonewall, Oasis Academy Trust and similar gay gospel propagating supporters’ state capture of UK education.

It clearly informs a petition I have created calling on the UK Parliament to review home education concepts and policies to seize Covid-19 reform opportunities that are redressing this state-trampling-parental-duties education crisis.

Rooting my hypothesis in both Jeremiah 31:31 and pre-biblical African cultural sources, I informed Bonfiglio,

“I believe that this deep seeding Judeo-Christian discipleship matrix, to which, incidentally, there are African precursors (for example, the “weighing of the heart” associated with the Egyptian Ma’at Kheru ritual and the ancient and extant Ghanaian Sunsum motion and motivation marrying, metaphysical paradigm) is the indispensable component of a sound, human ecology sustaining theological education.

And I am particularly interested in and emphasize the biological basis and ecological sustainability of this innate theological education because it is key to my understanding of the role of the family, not the church nor the seminary, as the locus of divine-human communion and revelation.

The seeding, which you rightly note is behind the notion of the seminary, is introduced here first and foremost as a heterosexual reproduction based, familial foundation simulating phenomenon.

Note that the importance of familial relations is established in verse 1, which reads: ‘At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.'”

I am therefore in essential agreement with Jung that state or para-state disruption of what I call “intercourse with the nucleus of reality” in my 1982 poem “Communion”, ultimately leaves the individual psychically under-developed with extreme feelings of marginalization.

Note that these feelings of marginalization (which Dymond rashly imputed to the Sussexes) parallel the “sour grapes” sentiment in my alternative Covid-19 causation hypothesis.

“Nanny state” uNC dislocating presumption also proximates the ethical bankruptcy or, at least insolvency (some beached word whales, like the Ever Given, can be returned to the sea’s “currency” and be redeemed) that the “bankers bride” economist Ruth Lea caustically credited to Meghan’s account in October 2019 – a case of what former British prime minister Gordon Brown might call a “good will” degrading transaction in the “shadow banking system”, possibly.

I have been trying to persuade Barclays Bank executives to work with me to redress psychosomatic degradation and devaluation that they, I and others have been suffering at the hands of disgraced Barbadian-American politician Donville Inniss and others, like the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, who have been implicated with them in the global shadow banking trade in reputation (good will) inflation and shielding secrecy.

I first became aware of the convicted criminal Inniss’ surreptitious, shadow bank linking of my own business brand Intelek to the pornography industry in 2013.

I could not say conclusively, but I have reason to believe that Inniss, who was convicted of bribery and money laundering in the US, is a Florida-based satellite of Ghislane Maxwell and the late Epstein.

I name Inniss, Sir Hilary, Reverend Sonia Hinds, current Barbados ambassador to CARICOM David Comissiong and other conscious or unconscious violators of my and other Barbadians’ intellectual property and wider hereditary, biology-based human rights, in a petition I filed with the Inter American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) in 2020.

And more recently, I have also raised my concerns about Sir Hilary’s, Phillips’, Lea’s and other metastatic media morality muddled operators with a prominent legal firm specializing in historical child abuse cases and related forms of identity inflation and irradation aided human trafficking.

However, from my perspective, Dymond’s and other BBC journalists’ most egregious excesses, like Sir Hilary’s, Pope Francis’, Rupert Murdoch’s, Arianna Huffington’s, Oprah Winfrey’s and other mass messaging kings and queens, are those that implicate them in the core commercial slaughter of unborn babies – thrown overboard, metaphorically, in the treacherous mental Middle Passage that is the more than 1800 year-old legacy of the uNC’s conflation and confusion with written New Testament (wNT).

This catastrophic, carcinogenic confusion has metastasized into abortion, same sex union and other forms of Lingam (Hindu phallus symbol) legalism that collectively constitute a Covid-19 delusions and malaise mimicking, brain death proximal equivalent of the Mediterranean’s Dead Sea.

The covid quandry that PMs Johnson, Mottley, president Trump and other world leaders found themselves in, represented as a choice between “saving lives or saving the economy” is, from my perspective, a symptom of the extent to which the global “death cult” deluge of abortion (now at a rate of 70 million a year, according to the Guttmacher Institute) and related child abuse excesses have seeped into society, becoming a sea of global acceptance to the detriment of all human rights and responsibility.

Accordingly, a key section of my IACHR petition that addresses difficulties I have experienced getting state and para-state entities in Barbados and their international allies to respect my human rights reads:

Consciously or unconsciously fundamentalist feminist and perverse patriarchal power brokers dominate Barbados’ interlocking political and religious culture and the island’s state institutions. Unprincipled, gender, race and religious racketeering Barbadian academics, journalists, politicians, religious clerics and business people use unwritten codes to “enslave” Barbadians psychosocially.

Domestic laws do not ensure due process for the protection of the rights allegedly violated because civil and criminal court procedures and outcomes in Barbados are influenced by shadowy regional and international interests – typified by the disgraced Barbadian MP Donville Inniss’ pornography peddling Canadian and other international connections.

Current Prime Minister Mia Mottley’s recently announced move to make Barbados a republic will not likely change this fundamentally.

It will likely simply put Barbados more firmly and patently under the influence of some of those shadowy influences, including extremist gender, race and religion racketeering elements of the Black Lives Matter movement and the global “gay lobby” denounced by Pope Francis I.

And I believe that prime minister Mottley’s stated population puffing ambitions, coupled with her move to legalize gay unions attests to the deep, Covid-19 delusions simulating fog of her male-female interdependence ignoring fantasies – as a statement I published in response to PM Mottley’s February 2020 announcement of her government’s intention to legalize “same sex unions” suggests.

And before going further I feel obliged to declare a further personal interest – or “observer bias” that links me to Harry and Meghan directly.

Letter from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex

My correspondence with the Sussexes

In November 2019 I initiated a correspondence with the Sussexes, inviting them to collaborate with me to rehabilitate global media policies and practices, in line with my decades old, ethical knowledge economy based efforts.

That invitation was diplomatically declined.

However, shortly thereafter the Sussexes announced that they would be stepping back from official duties and embarked on a media rehabilitating project of their own.

Guided by an abundance of caution, as former United States president Barack Obama might say, I have chosen not to read too much into that coincidence.

An advocate of care-filled, careful conversation – as my private and published (Campbell 2018) interactions with Marxist feminist Selma James, former Barbados prime ministers Sir Lloyd Erskine Sandiford, Owen Arthur and Freundel Stuart, current PM Mottley and others attest – I certainly would not want to imitate Dymond’s studied, carelessness and presumptuousness.

I remain guided by the uNC based, balance of the sexes based, Couvade Syndrome centered and wider “circle of care” principles of communication and conflict management that my alternative Covid-19 causation narrative posit as pillars of sound psycho-somatic health.

I remain committed to the careful navigation of human interconnection, interdependence and entanglement that Vizier Ptahhotep, Empress Hatshepsut, Emperor Haile Selassie, Martin Luther King Jr, Mahatma Ghandi, Dame Nita Barrow, Rev Andrew Hatch, Rev Holmes Williams, Archbishop Granville Williams, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and others have modeled – with varying degrees of success, notably.

With Louisa May Alcott I persevere in transcendental truth communicating or, as Harry and Meghan might say, “universal service” rendering technologies.

I commend the following words of wisdom from Alcott’s novel An Old-Fashioned Girl to the Sussexes, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and all other members of the Royal Family.

In the spirit of Rastafarian reasoning that underpins the royal “I and I” of this indigenous, creole Caribbean religious formation’s theological reflection and linguistic practice, I recommend Alcott’s words to all people everywhere.

It is about universalist respect.

Or as my Rastafarian idren (bretheren) in Bardown (Barbados) might say “Raspect in every aspect!”

Fanny exerted herself, and won the prize, for Polly helped Maud, and neglected her own work; but she didn’t care much, for Mr. Shaw said, looking at the three bright faces at the tea-table, “I guess Polly has been making sunshine for you to-day.” “No, indeed, sir, I haven’t done anything, only dress Maud’s doll.”

And Polly didn’t think she had done much; but it was one of the little things which are always waiting to be done in this world of ours, where rainy days come so often, where spirits get out of tune, and duty won’t go hand in hand with pleasure.

Little things of this sort are especially good work for little people; a kind little thought, an unselfish little act, a cheery little word, are so sweet and comfortable, that no one can fail to feel their beauty and love the giver, no matter how small they are.

Mothers do a deal of this sort of thing, unseen, unthanked, but felt and remembered long afterward, and never lost, for this is the simple magic that binds hearts together, and keeps home happy. Polly had learned this secret.

She loved to do the “little things” that others did not see, or were too busy to stop for; and while doing them, without a thought of thanks, she made sunshine for herself as well as others.

There was so much love in her own home, that she quickly felt the want of it in Fanny’s, and puzzled herself to find out why these people were not kind and patient to one another.

She did not try to settle the question, but did her best to love and serve and bear with each, and the good will, the gentle heart, the helpful ways and simple manners of our Polly made her dear to every one, for these virtues, even in a little child, are lovely and attractive.

Notes

1. In Bajan English the phrase we-is we is typically used between two participants in a group conversation to signal understanding and agreement that transcends explicit speech. It is roughly equivalent to “we know what we mean, even if others in the group don’t”.

2. Text of my Parental Priority petition:

Review home education concepts and policies to seize COVID-19 reform opportunity

The COVID-19 pandemic is a chance to redress conceptual and structural weaknesses in the UK’s education provision that have been imperiling children’s/young adults’ health and well being for decades. The prior role of homes in socialization (not schools) needs to be asserted unequivocally.

This is an opportunity to progress reforms that the late Dame Nita Barrow, Sir Ken Robinson and other Commonwealth thinkers have discussed for half a century. We can redress eroding mental health, child sexual abuse and related outrages of basic decency stemming from parents ceding their duty of care to religious and secular institutional entities. Home education is degenerating while parents pursue personal liberty fantasies. COVID-19 has exposed the need to redress this dangerous tendency.

To be continued….
